The torch of the flame of Shree Marwari Databya Aushadhalaya was carried over to a new medical unit named Mother and Child Block which came into being on the 23rd of October, 1985, the auspicious day of Vijay Dashami. It was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Sri Bhisma Narayan Singh. The movement of health-care has already gathered momentum. It reached the height of excellence.It is a 70 bedded hospital located at Sati Jaymati Road, Athgaon, Guwahati-781008, Assam. It has delivery rate of 4000/- to 5000/-per anum on an average. Maternal Mortality rate is unrecognizable & IMR (Infant Mortality Rate) is lower than the National Average.
